the Green House

In Vermont, a home manages to tread lightly on the environment and provide a glorious setting for nonstop family fun.

HOME OF THE MONTH

Why we love it:

Timber homes are all about natural living, but when we find one that’s conscious of nature, well, it’s also tough to ignore. This structure was built with an eye on the ecosystem, and the result is a healthy sanctuary for both the Earth and the family that dwells here.

FAVORITE FEATURE:

The stone patio. Tucked in a corner at the back of the home, it’s protected from the elements to achieve favorite-hang-out status.
