NORTH WOODS CELEBRATES NEW FACILITY

Vermont Governor Howard Dean and other state dignitaries were on hand recently to help Larry Kruse and Pete Kochalka, owners of North Woods Joinery and R-Tight Panel (Burlington, VT), celebrate the official opening of their new joint 20,000-sq.ft. production facility.

North Woods Joinery sells custom post and beam homes throughout the U.S. and Canada. Its affiliate, R-Tight Panel, produces SIPs for its homes and other timber frame companies.

"North Woods Joinery represents an excellent, value-added complement to Vermont's timber industry," says Gov. Dean. "This kind of value-added business is great. We're excited to see the continued success of a quality Vermont company that sells quality products."

"Our new facility takes us to a higher level in our ability to provide our customers with quality service," says Larry Kruse, co-owner of North Woods Joinery. "It will enable us to keep pace with the increased consumer demand for our homes." North Woods Joinery, in its sixth year of operation, has crafted hundreds of timber frame homes for delighted customers in 31 states and Canada.
